Ingredients

  1. 3 ½ cups Cream Base
  2. 3 drops red food color
  3. 3 drops blue food color

Lavender Syrup:

  1. ¼ cup honey
  2. ¾ cup water
  3. ½ cup lavender buds

Instructions

Lavender Syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan combine water and honey and bring to a boil, stir occasionally.
  2. Once boiling take the pan of the heat and add the lavender buds, stir and cover.
  3. Let syrup steep for 4 hours then refrigerate until ready to use.

Ice Cream:

  1. In a bowl combine cream base, 2 tsp lavender syrup, and 3 drops of each food coloring, whisk to combine. 
  2. Pour into your ice cream maker and churn. Churn until the mix starts to look solid and firm. It’s ready when a spoon is pressed across the top and it should leave an impression without collapsing for just a second. 
  3. Turn off the machine and remove the dasher.
  4. Fill the ice cream container. 
  5. Cover and freeze for 8 hours or overnight.
